It Doesn’t Matter Who’s Holding the Gun

Shawn Dooley

This piece is for display only.

Chalk pastel pencils and acrylic paint on tan paper.

I’m not sure if this classifies as protest art but I wanted to make a statement about gun violence and the fact that children are often the victims. There are way too many bullets flying through the air and way too many news stories about children being shot. It doesn’t matter who’s holding the gun, the bullets do just as much damage and the life that is taken can’t be given back.
